Are you a young Albertan ready to explore a future in the skilled trades? Prospect’s Youth Apprenticeship Connections Program is here to help you discover your potential and turn your interests into a rewarding career.

This province-wide program supports youth aged 16–24 who are currently or formerly connected to Children and Family Services, including those receiving support from the Transition to Adulthood Program and Advancing Futures. No matter where you live in Alberta, we’re here to guide you on your path to success in the trades.

Through hands-on opportunities, mentorship, and one-on-one support, this program helps you build the skills and confidence to move forward with purpose.

    Discover what’s out there by attending trades showcases, industry events, and worksite tours. Get inspired by the possibilities.

  • Experience Careers in Trades
    Try it out! Gain hands-on experience and develop real-world skills through volunteer placements and work experience opportunities.

    Receive personalized guidance from our apprenticeship specialists. From mentorship to job search support and employer connections, we’re with you every step of the way.
