Program at a glance
Length: 30 to 32 weeks, plus up to 6 months of retention support
Audience: Albertans facing barriers to employment who are ready to learn by doing
Outcomes: confidence, workplace habits, employer connections, and job-ready skills
Eligibility
Must live in Calgary or surrounding area
At least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in Canada
Facing barriers to employment and ready to participate in training and work experience
Able to communicate in English (minimum CLB 5–6)
No criminal record that would prevent employment in the non-profit sector
