Ready to Build Your Career?

We know getting your foot in the door can be tough, especially without much experience. But don’t worry—our program is designed to help young Albertans like you, aged 18 to 24, get ahead.


What We Offer

Our program is packed with tools, resources, and connections to help you build skills, land a job, and keep it. Here’s how we support you every step of the way:

  • Job Search Help

    From creating a standout resume to nailing interviews, we’ve got you covered. You’ll learn how to network, find hidden job opportunities, and present yourself confidently.


  • Job Matching Made Easy
    Our AI-powered job matching tool, Acuspire, connects you with jobs tailored to your skills and interests. Get instant results and explore options that are just right for you.


  • Explore Careers in VR

    Not sure what path to take? The CareerLabsVR system lets you try out different careers in an immersive virtual reality setting, so you can discover what excites you most.


  • Short Courses to Level Up

    Need extra training? Choose from optional courses like First Aid, Forklift Training, or even Microsoft Excel to give you a leg up.


  • Real-World Support

    Whether it’s a bus pass, work boots, or a police check, we offer one-time financial assistance to help you get job-ready.


  • Employer Networking Events

    Meet employers face-to-face at our networking fairs. Share your skills, ask questions, and make connections that can jump-start your career.


Is This for You?

To join, you need to be:

  • 18-24 years old

  • Unemployed or working less than 20 hours/week

  • Ready for full-time work (30+ hours/week)


Program Duration

Our support lasts for up to 16 weeks, plus a 90-day follow-up to help you keep moving forward.
