Job Fairs Connect Alberta Employers with Talent

For many job seekers, opportunity begins with a conversation—not an application.

Prospect’s team-driven spirit has been on full display this spring as we successfully hosted another series of job fairs across Alberta, including Calgary, Edmonton, Strathmore, Cochrane, Airdrie, Chestermere, and surrounding communities. Delivered in partnership with local Chambers of Commerce and businesses from across the province, these events brought thousands of job seekers and employers together to create real, immediate employment opportunities.

This spring, more than 3,800 job seekers connected with over 160 employers—creating thousands of opportunities for direct, in-person conversations.

These events offer something that online applications cannot. They give job seekers the chance to speak directly with employers, ask questions, and present themselves beyond a resume. For many, that face-to-face interaction builds confidence and opens doors that might otherwise remain closed.

For employers, these events create a more direct and efficient hiring process. Instead of sorting through applications in isolation, they connect with candidates in real time, assess fit through conversation, and move more quickly toward confident hiring decisions.

The impact is immediate and practical. Job seekers leave with stronger connections and a clearer path forward, while employers gain access to engaged candidates and streamlined hiring opportunities.

Thank you to our team, employer partners, and sponsors who make these events possible, and to every job seeker who showed up ready to take the next step.
