At Prospect Human Services we work hard to ensure every Albertan who wants to work has the opportunity to do so. Today’s budget will open doors for Albertans with disabilities to access employment opportunities and contribute to Alberta’s success.
We applaud the government’s effort to provide this funding that will go a long way to breaking barriers to employment for persons with disabilities and support employers to connect with, and bring these Albertans into the workforce.
We have seen successes through the Alberta Jobs Now program with many persons with disabilities being hired. We believe these new dollars will grow and expand that opportunity for many more Albertans with disabilities to hear the words, “You Got The JOB!”
