Women in Trades - Journeys, Challenges, and Opportunities

October 16 from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Virtual event using Zoom

Presented with: The Office to Advance Women Apprentices

Join us online on Thursday, October 16 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM for an inspiring panel discussion featuring tradeswomen from a variety of disciplines. Hear their stories, learn about the realities of working in the trades, and gain practical advice for anyone curious about building a future in skilled trades.

This session is designed for youth across Alberta who want to explore apprenticeships, career paths, and what it takes to succeed in the trades. Panelists will share their journeys, speak to challenges and resilience, and answer questions during a live Q and A.

This event is hosted by Prospect’s Youth Apprenticeship Connections Program in partnership with The Office to Advance Women Apprentices.

Registration is free and open to all.
