Employment Plus

We know many people living in social housing across Edmonton would like some help finding a job or improving their employment situation. We’re here to lend a hand.

Prospect’s Employment Plus program supports people in Edmonton’s social housing (or those on a waitlist) by helping participants build stability, confidence, and skills as they work toward employment, education, or other next steps.

About the program

Flexible, practical guidance and individualized support shaped around each participant’s needs, goals, current circumstances and unique life experience

Participants may be unemployed, underemployed, or facing barriers that make their job search challenging, such as health concerns, disability, caregiving responsibilities, limited work experience, or financial stress

Offered in locations that work best for our participants, including community spaces, social housing buildings and participant’s residence

People can self-refer, or be referred by a service provider
