Where We Started

Incorporated in 1987, Prospect began with a simple but powerful mission: to reduce barriers and deliver sustainable solutions so that everyone, regardless of circumstance, can reach their employment potential. From a small team, we've grown into a province-wide, charitable, non-profit organization known for innovation, inclusion, and lasting impact.

Where We Are Today

Today, Prospect delivers more than 20 employment programs across Alberta, serving over 13,000 Albertans each year. From youth and newcomers to seniors, veterans, first responders, and individuals navigating disability or long-term unemployment, our services are designed to meet people where they are and support their path forward.

We also collaborate with more than 750 employers to strengthen recruitment, workforce development, and inclusive hiring practices. By connecting talent to opportunity, we help build a stronger, more resilient provincial workforce.

What We Believe

We believe in breaking barriers and employing change. That's not just a tagline. It's our promise.

We believe workplaces should reflect the diversity, talent, and strength of Alberta. We believe in the power of community, creativity, and courage. And we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build a better future.
