What We Do 

Target Supported Employment for Persons with Disabilities assists individuals to obtain and maintain paid employment.  This service combines rapid job placement with extensive on-the-job supports.  Target assists motivated individuals to become independently employed in 6 months or less. 

Why Target?

Target develops partnerships with employers by getting to know them, their business, and what they require in their workforce.

Target works with the employer and the employee to match the abilities of the employee with the needs of the employer.

Target develops strategies with employers to effectively diversify their workforce to include people with disabilities.

 

Target's Focus

  • To assist clients in obtaining employment within 4-6 weeks of starting the program
  • To provide on-the-job supports tailored to individual client needs
  • To build and develop natural workplace supports so clients can work independently

Supports Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Resume building, job search, and interview preparation
  • Direct job placement
  • Job coaching
  • Accommodation and diversity awareness for employers
