Career Links provides fast-track employment placement supports for individuals experiencing challenges to workforce participation as a result of mental health illness or issues, including those who may have concurrent substance abuse disorders.
Career Links takes a comprehensive approach to the development of natural supports and ongoing mentorship in the workplace.
Career Links is designed for individuals who desire rapid placement in a competitive or volunteer setting and who may be seeking time-unlimited job stabilization support.
We Serve Individuals Who
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Experience barriers to employment as a result of a mental illness or mental health issues and who may have a concurrent substance abuse disorder
- Demonstrate the readiness, willingness and ability to benefit from service
- Are stabilized on medications
- Have stable personal circumstances (e.g. food, clothing, shelter and transportation)
- Have an identifiable support network

- Job Placement
- Job Stabilization
- Mentorship
- Case Management and Follow-up
Benefits Include
- Rapid placement within 2-4 weeks of accessing service
- Time-unlimited job stabilization supports
- Optional disclosure
- Individualized services with intensity of supports tailored to individual need
- Employment placement based on individual preference and career objectives
- Ability to pursue employment and/or volunteer activities
- No minimum required hours of work
