2010 PDD Calgary Region Community Leadership Awards Winner – Viable Calgary, a Prospect Project
Viable Calgary, a Prospect Project, has been awarded the Community Disability Service Sector Leadership Award for the 2010 PDD Calgary Region Community Leadership Awards.
The 2010 PDD Calgary Region Community Leadership Awards are an opportunity to honour Albertans in the Calgary Region who make a difference in helping adults with developmental disabilities to be a part of their community. The Community Disability Service Sector Leadership Award recognizes a community service provider or individual that has demonstrated innovative practices that improve services for adults with developmental disabilities.
There were many other outstanding nominees in the category, each of whom has made significant contributions to improving services for adults with developmental disabilities in the Calgary community.
Along with being recognized with the Community Disability Service Sector Leadership Award for the Calgary Region, Viable Calgary will now be a nominee in the same category for the 2010 PDD Provincial Community Leadership Awards to be held in fall 2010.
