Prospect's PDD program collaborates on a mural project.

Over the summer months, several PDD Community Access clients were supported in a collaborative mural project with tenants from the Baker House, with Calgary Housing Company.

“Calgary Housing Company (CHC) is a City of Calgary owned corporation providing safe and affordable housing solutions to citizens of Calgary. CHC operates and manages over 10,000 subsidized and affordable housing units and has a variety of housing options for low-income households including duplexes, townhouses and high-rise apartments.”

With the leadership of Prospect’s Art Facilitators, clients and tenants gathered to brainstorm about ideas of community in Calgary and as a group came up with the concept for the mural. Their intention… adding a piece of the arts to this downtown building.
